We are looking for a Banqueting Head Chef that can provide our guests with a 5* experience. The successful candidate will be friendly and outgoing with exceptional customer service skills.
About the Role:
Working as part of the Resort management team you will collaborate across the resort with colleagues at all levels.
Duties include:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality banqueting menus for a variety of functions and events
- Manage and lead a dedicated banqueting team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Coordinate with events and F&B teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain food cost controls, ordering, and inventory management
- Uphold health & safety and hygiene standards in line with legal requirements
- Support the broader kitchen operation when needed, collaborating with the à la carte and outlet teams
- Ensuring full compliance throughout all food handling and storage as per the Resort Food Hygiene and HACCP system
About you:
- Proven experience as a Senior Banqueting Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume hotel or events environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities
- Passion for quality and innovation in food
- Food hygiene certification and knowledge of HACCP procedures
- Ability to work flexibly including early mornings, evenings and weekends
