We are looking to increase our team at the Vale Resort and are currently recruiting for an Executive Head Chef.
We have a rare opportunity to join the Vale resort as an EXECUTIVE CHEF.

We are looking for an Executive Chef with a genuine passion and creative talent to influence and produce a seasonal variety of menus for the resort’s award wining restaurant, bar and events including wedding and conferences.
The Executive Chef will oversee the catering operation for the Vale Hotel, Vale sports and leisure club, Vale spa and Hensol Castle.
You’ll be able to demonstrate previous experience of delivering an outstanding dining experience, with a proven successful track record of operating within an establishment that has multiple kitchens.
The successful EXECUTIVE CHEF will have;
- A successful track record of managing several kitchens within a hotel resort.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with a calm and professional approach.
- Strong coaching skills.
- A passion for food.
- Outstanding attention for detail.
- Real ambition to succeed at the highest level.
Due to the location of the resort you must have your own transport.
A bit about the role;
The Executive Chef will oversee all aspects of the food operation from seasonal menu development, developing supplier relationships for purchasing, staff training and development in addition to having responsibility for controlling all of the legal requirements of food health and safety practices.
