At the Vale Resort we believe yes, golf should be a challenge but it should also be fun. Whether visiting on a corporate golf day or perfecting your technique on a golfing break, it’s rare to find a golfer who has not been left just a little smitten after a round on either of our two championship golf courses.

Our exciting health club refurbishment will begin on the 24th of October therefore the wet facilities will be out of use until 11th December.

Our Courses

With two championship courses, 36 holes and a whole lot of fun. At 7,433 yards, the Wales National is a proper challenge, as is the Lake course, but for different reasons, with water coming in to play on 13 holes.

How long are the courses?

Both of our golf courses are championship level. Our Wales National course is 7,433 yards can take up to 5 hours at a leisurely pace, and our Lake course is 6,436 yards can take up to 4 hours to complete.

How much is buggy hire?

You can hire a golf buggy from us during your golf day or golf break. Buggies are £42 per day and payable on the day of arrival at our golf pro shop.

Which is the best course?

This is really a personal preference. The Wales National is long and challenging at 6433 yards, but the Lake course has water coming into play on 13 of the holes.
