Our Spaces

All wedding function rooms benefit from natural light and private entrances plus our Morgannwg Suite enjoys the external sweeping staircase that provides a unique and memorable photographic opportunity. Terraces, balconies and landscaped gardens, coupled with picturesque views of lakes, rolling countryside and the ancient Hensol Castle, provide the most stunning backdrop, with a photographer's dream for wedding day photographs.

Castle Suite

This fantastic suite offers high ceilings and large windows, making it ideal for larger celebrations. The suite has its own private bar and a large terraced balcony overlooking the picture-perfect Lake golf course - ideal for a summer wedding barbecue!

This room is superb for a civil wedding any time of the year. Natural daylight beams through to create a bright airy setting, while the doors open onto a terrace overlooking the picture perfect Lake golf course.

Morgannwg Suite

Our most popular wedding room is the Morgannwg Suite, which is perfectly located on the first floor with its own private bar. This suite is bright and airy, and offers superb views of the Lake golf course from its own private balcony. A spiral staircase leads down to our terraced area.

Do you take more than one wedding a day?

No, the Vale Resort only hosts one wedding a day. However, do keep in mind we’re an operating hotel with a spa and health club.

Can you provide food for my suppliers?

If you decide to offer food for your suppliers e.g photographer, we will require pre-notice during your final details. This cannot be ordered on the day.

How long will the Vale Resort provisionally hold the wedding date?

We will hold the date for two weeks. After this time we require a deposit for £1,000 to confirm your booking which is non-refundable and non-transferable.
